The organiser shall not be liable for any other expenses after it has paid the award recipients the corresponding prize money in one lump sum. The aforementioned prize money has included tax, the organiser will pay taxes to local taxation authorities on behalf of the award recipients before giving out the award money.

  • 1.Register online and submit design proposals:
    (1)Log on the Kimberlite 50-carat Diamond Global Design Competition official page:
    (2)Read and agree to the legal declaration, fill in personal information, name of work, and design specifications (in both English and Chinese)
    (3)Upload a scanned copy or an electronic copy of the original design document of your submission.
    2.Deadline for submission: 12 O'Clock (Beijing time), May 18, 2019
    3.Each entrant may submit multiple works, there is no limit to the number of works you can submit.

  • 1.All submissions must be original design works from the entrant, and have never been used to take part in any form of competitions, nor should these works have been used in promotions. One work can only be submitted once. One entrant can submit multiple pieces of work. Those who have been found to have copied or plagiarised other people's works shall be disqualified, and shall bear all the legal liabilities involved. The organiser will not for submissions which may have  violated copyright and patent right, neither will it be liable for the dispute caused by publicising such works.
    2.Intellectual property rights such as the right to use the design, the copyright of the design, the copyright of the work produced based on the design, the patent right and the right to apply for patent for all shortlisted works are owned by the organiser;
    3.The final winner's work will be produced by the organiser, and will be on display at the time of the award ceremony, it will also be published on the official website and other media;
    4.The organiser may, if necessary, have the right to make appropriate changes to the winning work and the name of the work.

  • 1.Requirements for materials:
    (1)The centre stone is a 50CT pear-shaped brightly cut diamond (31.20x20.82x13.48 mm);
    (2)Use of colored gemstones is prohibited (including black diamonds); use of any gemstone other than diamonds is prohibited;
    (3)The centre stone should be set on jewelry made from platinum (PT950) or 18K gold (AU750); use of other non-precious metals is prohibited.
    2.The original sketches or design drawings of the submission must be provided. The dimensions of the renderings of each work should be A3 (297mm x 420mm), 1:1 3D processing detail illustrations should also be provided. There is no limit to the number of works you can submit;
    3.The resolution of scanned copies and computer-generated images should be 300dpi, formats accepted include JPG and TIFF, the maximum size of an image shall not exceed 10MB;
    4.Complete creative design concepts should be provided, including: name of the work, source of inspiration, creative concept, and description of materials;
    5.Works submitted can be hand-drawn or computer-drawn sketches;
    6.Fill in the submission form in full, and the form has to be submitted along with the work, or the entry will be seen as invalid.
    7.The front side of the works shall not contain names or symbols indicating names, or the entry will be treated as cheating.
